Real-Time Cloth Simulation for Hula Costume CAD Development

In recent years, 3D computer graphics (3DCG) technology has been applied in various fields such as AR technology, VR movies, games, and virtual fitting of clothes. Among them, there is the problem contact between clothing other objects (such body). this paper, we focus on that problem. Since research part development CAD for design hula costumes, since assume users will have PCs with not very high performance, took an approach does require a large amount computation. As representation cloth, used mass-spring model which springs mass points are connected grid. We also compared how three methods calculating position velocity, Euler method, FB Runge-Kutta affect simulation results.
